WineHive's climate controlled wine cabinets pair cellar-grade cooling with furniture-quality design, so you can display and properly store your collection without converting a room into a walk-in cellar. Built in partnership with Grandeur Cellars, each cabinet combines frameless glass doors, black anodized WineHive cell racking, and a dedicated cooling system in one built-to-order piece — available in three capacities from 91 to 208 bottles, finished in your choice of wood stain, hardware, and handle style. What is a climate controlled wine cabinet?
A climate controlled wine cabinet is a built-in storage unit with its own dedicated cooling system. Unlike an open wine rack, it actively regulates temperature and humidity to protect wine for long-term aging — similar in function to a wine cellar, but sized and finished to fit inside a home or commercial space.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose between the M1, M2, and M3?
The three WineHive cabinet models share the same construction, cooling system, and finish options — the difference is capacity and footprint. The M1 holds 91 bottles in a 38-9/16" wide cabinet, the M2 holds 150 bottles at 52-1/4" wide, and the M3 holds 208 bottles at 65-3/4" wide. If you're unsure, measure your available wall space first, then work backward to the model that fits — all three are 88-1/2" tall and 19-5/16" deep, so height and depth won't be the deciding factor.
What's the difference between this and a standalone wine cooler?
A standalone wine cooler is a self-contained appliance you place against a wall; WineHive's climate controlled cabinets are built-in, custom-finished furniture pieces designed to be anchored into your space like cabinetry. They use a dedicated cooling system built into the cabinet itself rather than a compact fridge-style compressor, and every unit is finished in your choice of stain, hardware, and handle style rather than sold as a fixed off-the-shelf unit.
How do I pay: in full or with a deposit?
Either. You can order online and pay in full at checkout, or contact us to reserve your cabinet with a 50% deposit, with the balance due before it ships. Shipping is free either way.
What do I need to prepare before installation?
You'll need a dedicated electrical outlet near the install location and at least 18 inches of clearance above the cabinet, since the cooling system vents from the top. The cabinet also has to be anchored to the wall using the included steel L-bracket — it can tip forward if the doors are opened while unanchored. We recommend confirming outlet placement with your electrician before your cabinet ships, since lead time runs 8–12 weeks and it's easier to plan the electrical work in advance.
Can I customize the finish?
Yes. Every WineHive cabinet is built from premium Alder or Maple wood and offered in 17 stain and paint finishes, 4 hardware colors, and 6 handle styles, so you can match existing cabinetry or flooring rather than settle for a fixed factory look. Because each unit is built to order around your selections, plan for the full lead time from the date you finalize your finish choices.
How loud is the cooling system?
The cooling system runs at 49 dB, which is roughly the level of a quiet conversation or a running refrigerator — noticeable if you're standing right next to it, but not disruptive in a living room, dining room, or home bar setting where these cabinets are typically installed.
What's covered under warranty?
Every WineHive cabinet carries a 3-year non-transferable warranty on the cabinet construction itself, plus a 5-year extended warranty on the cooling system. If you're buying for a commercial space or plan to resell your home, keep in mind the cabinet warranty doesn't transfer to a new owner.
Can I return a cabinet?
Because every cabinet is built to order around your finish choices, customized orders carry a 50% restocking fee under our return policy. If your cabinet arrives damaged or defective, we replace it at no cost to you.
